Welcome

Our commitment is to put a smile on the faces of the 280+ in-patient children who are hospitalized and undergoing often painful and difficult treatment on a daily basis. We want to ensure that each child will have the opportunity to participate in an activity 365 days a year.

Our goal is to raise over 10,000 toys and electronics for the children in the hospital so that every child will be a recipient in each of the hospitals 13 units.

The Toy Drive has begun and will continue until delivery of the toys and electronics in June 8, 2010. In May, we are holding our annual Gift Garden Cafe. Guests will be asked to bring several new unwrapped toys and electronics for children aged newborn to 17. If you would like to be invited, please press the contact button at the top of the page and we will include you on the invitation list.

We are seeking corporate sponsors as well to fund extra toys we will need for the older children. These donations will be used for the sole purpose and benefit of the children at the hospital. With your generous corporate donations we can provide DVD's, electronics, books and computer games to make this dream a reality.

99% of the money we raise is used for toys that are passed directly on to the children.

Your generous contribution:

  • Allows us to meet our ambitious target of doubling the amount of new toys,
games, crafts, books, DVDs and doubling our monetary support to $100,000.
  • Enables us to provide new toys for approximately 280 in patient children and young adults who are hospitalized and undergoing often painful and difficult treatment on a daily basis.

  • Ensures that each child will have the opportunity to participate in an activity 365 days a year.

  • Helps put a smile on the faces of the children of all ages at The Hospital for Sick Children.
